Make Photoshop Touch available on Windows 8 tablets Suggested by ViacheslavXX here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1058195?tstart=30
The Samsung Galaxy Note (phone) meets the system requirements but is not currently supported. Users would like to be able to use Adobe PS Touch on this device.
It would be extremely helpful if there was a way that we could EDIT text after the layer is created... As it is now we can transform, skew, resize and move text and text layers but we CAN NOT edit the text once it has been created... If spelling is wrong you have to delete the layer and start again... Likewise, if you want to change the text's font you have to delete and recreate the entire layer... It would be most useful and appreciated if you could add a way that we can edit text po …
It would be great to be able to somehow use custom fonts within PS Touch
I love photoshop touch so far, but that tiny resolution limit is stopping my from using my tablet the way i want to. i use an DSLR, and i was hoping to be able to put my SD card into my tablet (asus transformer, with sexy dock) and edit my files. as it is, nothing can be opened because my camera spits out 14mp pictures. i understand higher resolutions risk performance, but i want to have the option of doing it, fully aware that things may get a bit slow. thats my main gripe. other than tha …
It would be nice to have a button or menu item to save your work instead of needing to jump back to the main Gallery screen every time. "Save often, save revisions" my teacher in school used to drill into my head many years ago. At least saving often could be easier.
Actualy the quality (high compressed jpg) of the local saved images is a bit poor. Will be nice if the user can select the grade of compression. Adding a PNG as a option to export is a good idea too. Some more resolution maybe. Around 2000px will be great. Thanks for your attention.
Suggestion from forum discussion by David Saylor1: Like most users I have photos in many different places on my tablet (including my removable micro SD card.) I'd like to see a way to get these photos into PS Touch.
Facebook integration is a nice start, but many of us use it very little or not at all. Google+ has a very large artist userbase, I myself have over 150 people in my Artists circle and those are only the few that I know. Google+ also has much nicer photo and gallery features so it only makes sense to add them to the social connections. My G+ profile
I have a few photo editing apps on the iPad 2 that support RAW - I think there is an API used that lets them access all the RAW files that IOS supports. It would be great to see this supported in Photoshop Touch too. It's seems many lesser apps offer better image file support than this app which doesn't seem right for something using the Photoshop name.
Aloow me to work whichever way i choose. i understand portrait might not be achievable but it is fundamental that it flips 180 degrees.
My tablet syncs all my albums from picasa web albums but it doesn't look like i can edit those files. i have no photos stored locally on the tablet. ideally Photoshop Touch should be able to select any photo from a synced album to edit locally.
Although there is support for adobe cloud. It would be great to offer some support for Dropbox in PS Touch
I guess this might be an addition to Photoshop rather than PS Touch, but I thought it might be more useful to post it here. I recentely did a quick sketch in PS Touch and then openned it in Photoshop, only after realizing that I could not go back to PS Touch unless the image was flatted. If Photoshop could retain the same file format(.psdx) then switching back and forth would be seamless. It seams kind of short sighted to think that the workflow would only go in one direction.
We want layered psd. Custom brushes. Patterns!!
It would be great to have more zoom levels. 800% or even 1600% is needed to use Photoshop Touch as a Pixel Art creation tool.
I'd love to be able to specify a font size (either in pt or pixels), rather than freehand resizing of the text box. It makes it difficult to match type sizes in multiple locations. It would also be very convenient to have word wrapping within text boxes, either hard wrapping or soft wrapping. Currently it's one line only, and setting a multi-line block of type requires carefully resizing the text boxes to get the right font size, aligning their edges as necessary, and accounting for consisten …
Suggestion by revan_mj: Are you (Adobe) going to let users open Photoshop Touch files in Photoshop Elements? Not everybody can buy full Photoshop app and as far as I can see, PST isn't meant only for professionalists.
* Fix the image degradation that occurs when exporting a jpeg to the camera roll. Currently, I have to email myself a jpeg and then download and save that on my tablet in order to avoid the incredibly horrible artifacts, noise and pixelation that your export algorithm is creating. This is beyond terrible and not what I expect from an Adobe product. Did anyone test this before you shipped? * Include the ability to connect to Google+. Facebook is two years ago. Lead, follow or get out of the w …
Although tablet keyboards support characters such as foreign letters, euro character € or copyright character ©, etc. its not possible to use them in a text layer, please add support for this.
add the ability to open and save files using Dropbox
There isn't an easy way to organize large collections of folders or photos within the Local Photos folders. It would be helpful to be able to sort folder contents (including other folders) by filename or date for example. This would make finding and managing content within the app much easier
I think this is really much more important than working with photos from Facebook. This is supposed to be a serious app for photo editing. Let's get it connected to the most important resource for photos online available out there...
Please allow PS Touch to run on Android devices with a slightly smaller screen resolution such as 1024x600
Bought PST tonight. Very nice so far. However, I would like to see some improvements, if possible: Most crucial is the ability to save the files in a desired format. Unless I missed it, I can only save a PST project based upon how I want to upload it. For example, if I send a project to my Dropbox account, it gets saved in JPEG format (along with a horrendous file name). If I send a project to my Creative Cloud account, it gets saved in PSDX format...which cannot be opened in my preferred i …
There are many variants in PSTouch that can be edited by typing the number as an alternative to using the slider, and that is very convenient. However, two of the most common variants, the brush size and hardness, can only be adjusted with a slider. This is very annoying when you are trying to hit a specific number, eg. if you have already made a stroke and you want to paint further with the same size after you have changed it. To make it even easier to change the small numbers you could add …
Allow Photoshop Touch files to be opened in Photoshop Elements
ICloud is THE Cloud solution for iOS users. It works great and is free. It is very bad marketing from Adobe to not support iCloud in the Touch solutions for iOS and only offer their own ridicoulously expensive Cloud solution (starting at $50 per month). Every professional solution developer nowadays offers integration with iCloud. It understand Adobe wants to promote their own cloud service, but this should not go at the cost of offering buyers of Touch solutions an option to grab or store items …
Could you implement a way to link layers so that I can move & resize multiple text layers at once after getting size and placement correct... Additionally - while you're at it could we also get simple Layer Masks ?? It's all great that we can enjoy Layer styles - but without layer masks the various selection tools lose about 50% of their benifit / usefullness... Comments ??
Ok, i know many people hate the pen tool, but it would be a nice addition if we could make it tablet-friendly in pstouch : if i try to cutout solid object (non fuzzy), it takes me more time actually and a lot of trial/error with the actual tools.
