if the cloud is the future of software and the price goes up. What will stop the madnesss? A competitor. Well we can see thaat Adobe hated Apple for years for selling competative software. Is the cloud a way for Adobe to say we want your money and dont want to have to wow you anymore to sell you on it? Or is the cloud so awesome that Adobe is doing it to provide a better service?

Well I think they have clearly told wall street that the clown will increase cash flow and create stability. in other words have a maintnaace free cash cow. In other words not any better than CS6. In other words you a costtomer pay more and get lesss.

Give the option to which panels are visible or on which panel the user will land on first when viewing a design on the cloud.

This feature is meant for clients. The reason I think you should implement this is because some client's aren't very tech savvy or regular Adobe product users. This way you can send them a link with only the panles visible that they need. Maybe just the comments section if you are expecting them to comment on it, or maybe just the layers section if you want them to see different iteration of a design.

The way this is implemented through the link is obvisouly up to you guys, URL parameters perhaps?

After using Bridge to manage my photos by product codes through tags and metadata information, I can't search for certain files in the cloud. Being able to have some more information available up front that's already embedded in the photo would be incredibly useful.

It would be really nice to know if someone as downloaded a file. This makes tracking proposals to clients and such much easier because you know when they've looked at it, and whether its safe to remove it from the cloud!

A support for displaying dates in European format

It would be great if the language selection on creative.adobe.com for European languages changed the date format to display as DD.MM.YYYY or preferably ISO standard YYYY-MM-DD. It would also be helpful to have a English international language selection to display the page in English but date in the ISO standard format.

Hello All

This probably isnt the most appropriate place to post this idea. Most likely this will get moved by someone to somewhere else but I figured that since both applications are part of the Creative Cloud that I have subscribed to for almost a year now, I might as well as start here.

The title says the most basic part of what I am thinking about. The 2 programs are not very much alike, one is an Windows Explorer replacement and the other is a Media Manager. But they do show a lot of similarities.

Ever since I spliced my first video together back in 2001ish I have found that no matter how hard I tried I have always been unable to keep my project media from being scrambled all over my computers hard drives.

I have wanted and been wanting a way to properly and easily manage all my media files, whether they related to a personal or professional project i was working on.

It would be fantastic if the explorer and metadata processing of Bridge and the library and media management of Lightroom were to come together in one program. It would be nice if you could create a "LightBridge" project that you could then save your Premiere, After Effects, Audition Projects and Photoshop files "inside of". This would be of great benifiet to individuals to help manage the portions of the project they are working on and for teams so that everyone would know who is working on what and where the files they need from others are.

The LightBridge project could even have a way of creating and assigning tasks and storing information about the resources necessary, cameras, mics and all. Kind of a Media Project Database with links to the parts and digital resources.

It would be fantastic if the "LightBridge" project had the ability to keep "previous versions" so that if I decide to experiment, and then find myself running out of time, I can easily go back to the place before I started experimenting and get done the original plan.

it would also be great if I could get LightBridge to find all "user" media and enable us to organize it in the library and then tell it to consolidate all those digital materials and reproduce on a harddrive the library's structure and then move or copy all the media files or portions of the library. This would be useful for backups of projects to external drives or writable CD, DVD or BR discs.

It would also be wonderful if LightBridge could detect "Fuzzy Duplicates". Meaning that pictures taken .2 seconds apart by the same camera or a picture that has been lightly photoshoped compared to the original would be identified as near duplicates. I currently use a different program to find these types of pictures and then have to still organize the remaining non duplicated picture files.

It would be important to allow LightBridge to view, import and export all picture, video and audio formats. This would centralize any and all conversions.

The one other thing I would say is that it seems ridiculous how many different applications, yet similar feature sets, that Adobe seems to be running. Bridge and Lightroom is probably the best example, but i still wonder why there is a Flash Professional and Flash Builder Premium, Fireworks and Photoshop or InDesign and Acrobat. Don't get me wrong, I think the right tool is necessary for the right job, so if there is a reason Flash Build and Pro are separate applications that make a lot of sense, then by all means, but otherwise It seems to me that if they consolidated the 2 programs it would mean less resources would be necessary and they could move those resources to other projects where they are needed.

Comments and further expansion on this idea or another example of unnecessary application feature overlap and a solution are very welcome.

Add the ability to include additional business info on receipts

Current invoice system just shows name of business or person and amount of charge including taxes.

It would be useful to be able to have additional blank lines to be edited by the user which would also appear on monthly invoices or printed past receipts, these could be used for address or required indentifaction numbers needed for tax purposes. ie registry of commerce number etc.

Easier photo organizing on creative cloud website

Recently I did a shooting for a costumer (lots of photos). So what if I could...

Share the entire folder (I know this this is coming "soon...")
The user could not only preview JPGs but also Camera Raw Pictures (including .ORF)
The user could not only comment but also like and dislike certain pictures
After all I could easily see which pictures he liked the most and which I can throw away
I think that this would make the way of communicating between the photographer (or whoever) and the clients even more seamless
Lastly I think that if I would take advantages of this as a student with only a very low amount of clients, a company would use this feature every day...

It would be really helpful if you could indicate which files are in the cloud and which ones are still pending or failed to upload. I put several files into my CC folder and now I get an error saying that it failed to synch one/some file(s) and I don't know which one it is. It would also be nice to see what file is currently uploaded

Many users want an easier way to print receipts or invoices for their membership charges. The payment confirmation email are not detailed enough to be used for tax/accounting purposes. Users would like an option to be emailed a detailed monthly receipt or print several for past charges if needed.

Make TypeKit fonts available in desktop apps for design

Typekit sets should be avaialble to Creative Cloud subscribers in Photoshop and Fireworks for working through design layouts in getting ready for the web. Trying to lay something out in a font you don't have is ridiculous. To tell me to buy the font is also not the answer. If your answer is for me to purchase the font then all I'm getting from Typekit is a robust and distributed font delivery system. We should be able to agree the value in Typekit is the fonts, not the delivery. If I can have them on the web, viewable by millions, I should be able to work with them in my authoring environment.

Add Search Field to Custom Shapes Palette

With Custom Shapes and Vector usage finally on the rise in Photoshop, sometimes clicking on my Custom Shapes palette to find a specific shape can be time-consuming. Resize the window and the layout all shifts, and scrolling on smaller screens is a pain.

I'd love for Photoshop to implement a keyword Search to the Custom Shapes palette, seeing as most are named what they are (if created correctly).

Why doesn't Adobe use the latest version of their applications as the default download installation?

With the recent problems with Creative Cloud/Photoshop updates, it would save everybody's time (user and technical support's) to be able to download/install the latest version. Instead we have to download the base version and reapply all the updates.

If you purchase software from the Apple app store (for example), it will install the latest version.

Registration and Licensing

I actually have a comment and an idea. Every so often, usually once or twice a month, my Adobe products need me to re-register the products individually. Don't know why but it does. What I find distasteful in these re-registrations is that Photographer is not listed as a job type. Am I not a professional that deserves a job type? If you recognize videographer and interior designer consider listing photographer as a profession and job type. I know EVERYONE with a digital camera is a "photographer" but I really did study this at the university, got a degree and a studio since 1999. A little recognition would be nice.

Now for my idea. I fully understand the problems with piracy, as a photographer I deal with people stealing my work every day too. I understand limiting the software to two devices also, but can we do better? I have a PC and a laptop that the Creative Cloud, PS, Dw and Acrobat are installed on BUT once a month or so I travel away from my studio to Corpus Christi, TX. For that week I work for an advertising agency. In order to work at the PC they have provided for me I need to deactivate the software on my home PC first. Then when I come home I have to deactivate the Corpus Christi computer and re-activate the home PC software. Since Abode moved to a SaaS platform I cannot see a reason to still have per install licensing. Why can't we move to a per occurrence license? Allow only 2 concurrent uses of the software at any time or one if that's what you want but don't limit the install and make the user activate and deactivate every time. Come on guys we can do better licensing then what we have. If Intuit and other companies can do a per seat license so can Adobe.

What I don't understand is why I continue receiving promotional emails although I have already bought the Creative Cloud.

I also don't understand why there are tons of promotional links on the Adobe website for the Creative Cloud although I'm connected with my client ID.

Actually, when I come to Adobe website as a client, I already know about the products I bought, so I come more for new products and professional areas (loopology, reference APIs, and so on).

I can't find a Creative Cloud app in the chrome webstore. I'm really kind of suprised that there isn't one. Most web-app's I use regularly have one, making it easy for me to get to them. I tried to create one, but since I don't own https://creative.adobe.com/ I can't add it to the chrome webstore.

I'm a freelance cartographer, and produce maps in Illustrator and Photoshop for my magazine clients to incorporate into InDesign. Currently we use Dropbox for file syncing in a fairly convoluted process. It would be much simpler and more efficient for me to be able to save files to Creative Cloud and have my clients directly link to them using Bridge/InDesign. I'm sure lots of other freelancers are in the same boat. Who's in agreeance?!

It would be great if Creative Cloud had a user referral link or code where I can get credit when I refer a new customer to Adobe.

For example, if someone clicks my link ( perhaps like cc.adobe.com/dsfxf9s ) and signs up for the full suite then I would get a $10 credit applied to my monthly bill.

That is the basic idea and I think it would be a great motivator for creatives like myself to promote and share the value of Creative Cloud.

At some point while using Adobe sites and software I was told I needed to update my password to be 12 characters or less. This is really not acceptable. I generally try to utilize at least 16, usually 32-64 character passwords on all of my accounts. It would be nice if you could update whatever software is causing this limitation of 12 characters to permit at least 32 characters.

Payment problem - reminder email

It would be really great if you could send an email out if the system wasn't able to process a credit card transaction for what ever reason. Your system current sends out payment confirmation emails, but no emails if there was a problem processing a transaction. All the system does is let you know when your subscription has lapsed due to non-payment.

I feel there should be atleast a couple days notice so a customer can make changes to their billing info and find alternate means of payment.

On Save Folder Remember

Hi all,

I'm sure many of us are working daily on multiple projects at the same time. There for, we have more than one .PSD file opened at any given time, or .AI, or what have you.

All arwork must be exported at some point, and in the process, you are forced to choose folders where to save your work. However, if you are working on Project A and saved previously Project B to folder Project B, then when you are saving Project A the default folder is the last one accesed. Yes, it's a Windows feature, nto a bug .

For me it owuld make logic and sense to have Adobe remember my last export/save location per each and every file. Can you imagine the benefits?

Can some one fix this in a next update for Adobe InCloud please?

And btw, regarding perfomance, whne Navigator Window is open and try to move objects on canvas you get a slugish movement. You guys fixed the update pannel issue for Layer pallete, try to do the same for Navigator

When i create a psdx in PsTouch, i can see its snapshot from the file view.

If i go back to the creative cloud file view on my desktop, it's still "identifiable".

But when i download this document, it gets a generic .psdx icon until i play with it.

Could we imagine at some point that the psdx file gets an icon, like the download to psd does ? (or would that make the psdx file impossible to read anywhere else may be)

I use Creative cloud and found it very useful, however when Im in programs, i would hope it would be be intergrated.

I would like to see a button that would allow me to upload to the cloud similiar to the Adobe reader program.

I would like to see the cloud act in the same manner as dropbox if not better when it comes to making sure my documents are up to date.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Creative Cloud, but there's one issue that would have been a deal-breaker for me if I had known about it before I signed up.

If I'm in a place with poor or no Internet access and I try to use any of the Creative Cloud programs, the license authorization fails and I'm unable to use either CS6 OR the CS5 applications which I purchased in the traditional way. Would it be possible to code a way around that problem for those of us who don't always work in areas where there's good reception? I'd be enormously grateful.

LiveCycle Designer

I was very disappointed when LiveCycle Designer was uninstalled when I upgraded to Acrobat XI. FormsCentral is a nice app, but when you aren't allowed to use the service or you need the additional capabilities of LC Designer it falls short. I would like to request that the product team consider adding LiveCycle Designer to the Creative Cloud subscription.

Proto is indeed nice for some quick and rough sketches – but:

It would be more useful if the user could create and save/store own wireframe templates within Proto. At least, the templates' width should be editable.

Would love to see some of those features in the upcoming updates!

Please add Contribute into this suite. I was very surprised recently when I went to look for it and it wasn't there. I thought that the Creative Cloud was supposed to be the equivalent to the Master Collection. I've been using it since CS2 and prefer it for some things.

Roaming license allowing usage on more than two computers

Some users would like to ability to have a roaming type license that makes it easier to work between multiple computers. User would sign in/out with their Adobe ID for usage during a session for example. Only two sessions could be active at any given time. Some users are currently deactivating and then reactivating with the current process as a workaround.

I appreciate the opportunity to lend my voice to others in requesting more progress on Creative Connection and more information about the update schedule, when we can expect new features.

In general I have the following recommendations/requests for the Creative Cloud. These are features which i've used in past, custom-built systems with ad agencies and vendors, and also based on tools which exist in acrobat or other adobe apps.

The existing cloud file sharing system is slick by not very useful compared to DropBox sharing. i'd like to see:

Folder Sharing!!! ability to send link of whole folder to client to review different media at once.
mark up tools (like Acrobat! - proofreading marks or ability to mark up copy, drawing tools like circles and arrows, ability to mark the moving of an object from one postion to another)
ability to shift colours (like illustrator colour groups)
ability to 'approve' or 'reject' files
ability to rate files
ability to label files
