The upcoming v27 release of the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, scheduled for mid-July, will not require users to upgrade to the v27 Folio Builder Panel but will require them, at a minimum, to upgrade to v26.
After deployment of the v27 release, v25 users will be presented with a message in the Folio Builder Panel indicating that an update is required. Upon receipt of this message, users must download and install at least the R26 build of the Folio Builder Panel from: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/. InDesign CS5/5.5 users should select the Folio Builder Panel update for their respective version. InDesign CS6 users should select the DPS Desktop Tools update.
Note: CS5 and CS5.5 users are not required to update the Folio Producer Tools with this release, only the Folio Builder Panel. The Folio Builder Panel is backward compatible with older versions of the Folio Producer Tools. CS6 Users will update all parts of DPS and can use the viewer version in the Folio Builder Panel to create Folios for apps created with earlier versions of DPS.
Thank You!
Adobe DPS Team
