Me too! Just upgraded to CC and embedding HTML is causing consistent crashes. Was this not tested?

Looks like there is some corruption with packagem, may be while copying the package to VM or deploying it via network. Can you please try creating a new package and try to deploy it.

Under any keyboard combination: default, proper, PM, Quark

The Indesign label in the menu (above, left) is shadowed when the shortcut is typed.

But the rest of them are oK

Shift+Cmd+R

Shift+Cmd+C

Shift+Cmd+J

Shift+Cmd+F

Could be fixed in some way?

Just to know if it is a problem here.

CS6 was OK.

The way you're doing is not "wrong" per se, however your class is not semantic.

I would do:

img.thumb {
padding: 10px;
}

Or better:

div.thumbnails > img {
padding: 10px;
}

I'm curious why this bothers you so much. It might be a bug, but really, it's just the package report, and I'm not sure that it makes any difference if the bleed is not listed correctly as long as the file opens correctly. Are you concerned you will send this package out and some printer will read the report and presume you have no bleed, perhaps printing or quoting incorrectly?

I've not looked into the costs of the US software but I completely agree with you about the cost for purchasing team licenses is considrebly higher than individuals. its a fact its much higher! I just got off the phone with adobe sales, and I was asking about the individual or team licence options. The individual full CC cost is £45p/m whereas the team full CC cost is £65p/m per user!! - WHAT!! why is a team license £20 more per month per user??

The phone operator agreed - "yes, thats expensive". I asked what more I get for the team licence and was told I just get to have one payment and manage the users from one account. It's discusting I should pay an extra £20 per user, per month to do that!! surely Adobe should be encouraging team users as its better for them too! .. attract more users, make more money from less processed payments.

Also Its a real shame there is no Direct Debt payment option, only credit card. DD would be a lot easier. Adobe, please can you do something about this?

The problem I'm having, which I didn't really clarify- sorry- is that earlier versions of Trace DID deal pretty well with high contrast b/w stuff. See the second image above, traced in CS3. I was really happy with that.

CS6 seems to be less capable by quite a substantial margin. See the third and fourth images above.

I'll try the anti-aliasing thing, though it would be a backward step if the more advanced version of Illustrator required more work!

Bonjour,

il y a quelques jours, j'ai téléchargé les versions démo Mac de différents logiciels (Ps, AI, Id, Dw et Ae). Adobe Application Manager s'est bien évidemment installé, et a ajouté dans ma barre des menus une icone. J'ai voulu la supprimer, j'ai donc regardé dans les préférences système mais je n'ai rien vu de tel. J'ai donc essayé de désinstaller AAM, mais l'icone est quand même restée...

Je ne sais plus quoi faire...

I have also found this when copying a live shape using the layers panel. When I select the copy the live shape properties are not available. Seems that using the direct selection tool usually switches it back.

Yes it worked fine. I'm working with NEF Raw and JPEG files. I thought maybe I had changed the preferences in photoshop because I was working on a Lynda.com class, but everthing looks good.

No. Sadly it didn't help. BOTH uninstalled. Re-installed BOTH, with the latest versions for both.

Still it crashes as quickly as me looking at it....

Hi,

It seems that some process is accessing the install location of CCP. So you may try one of the following work-arounds:

1. Restart Your machine

a. Restart your machine and try to update CCP.

2. Fresh Install for CCP 1.1

a. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\. Rename PDApp to PDApp_Original.

b. Download and install CCP 1.1 from cloud.

Looking at the color value of the snapshot, I do not see any difference in the original and its 3 copies. Monika is right - repeated arrangement of gradients, at times do appear as if the colors have changes. But that is not the case in your design. It should print fine.

You need not to uninstall Photoshop CS6. PS CC and CS6 both will reside on your PC or Mac side by side and you can work with them.

Same is applicable for other products too.

The WMV presets are not displayed on the right hand side of AME. So, on the left hand side (where the sequence or file for conversion is) you have to click the file or sequence to open the Export Settings window and select the type of encoding you want from the Format: and Preset: pull-down menus.

Only when trying to launch CS6 applications installed from creative cloud app earlier, my old standalone license for Soundbooth cs5 starts ok, CC apps start fine to.

7.5.3 is that last patch version for CS5.5. I don't think this is something that is going to change if you upgrade, though. Did you trie any of the solutions offered above?

I reinstalled Adobe RoboHelp 10 all over again but this time more carefully keepign watch at each step. The option to install RoboHelp for Word is present but it's not installed by default and the option itself is not easily noticed during the installation. During installation, you need to select the product 'Adobe RoboHelp 10' in the left pane of the install wizard and it shows up the list of sub-options (one of the sub-options is RoboHelp for Word) in the right pane of the install wizard.

I contacted Adobe Support and convinced them to log an product enhancement request from a usability perspective.

So that's that. RoboHelp for Word is indeed present in RoboHelp 10 but it's not installed by default.

Hi All,

Have downloaded the trial of Director 12 for Mac Engish twice now and attempted to install. However I get a message that the "install" disc image is damaged and the install will not continue. What should I do?

Running MacBook Pro 2.53 Intel Core i5, 4 GB memory and Mountain Lion 10.8.4

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I know you can still buy CS6, but as a Creative Cloud old subscriber, i downloaded CS6, now i want to download the new CC Apps, and delete the CS6 apps, but just in case i need to use them back for incompatibility reasons or bugs, will the CS6 apps still be available on Creative Cloud to download?

That's highly irregular, but you might try reinstalling Adobe AIR since the installer uses that. This should fix the issue.

Ich habe das Problem, dass Indesign CC sowie Incopy CC beim Starten auf allen meinen Systemen abstürzen (Splashbildschirm erscheint, dann folgt eine Windows-Fehlermeldung - bei 32- und 64-Bit Version). Die Adobe Hilfe, es unter einem neuen Admin-Konto zu starten, brachte nichts (waren ja auch schon Admin-Konten).

Zwischenzeitlich habe ich auf beiden Systemen probeweise Windows 7 (bzw. auch 8) ganz neu aufgespielt und nur Indesign installiert - ebenfalls Absturz.

Alle anderen CC Programme laufen ganz normal....

Weiss jemand einen Rat - oder ist es "einfach" nur ein Bug?

I am fairly sure that the files with existing sidecars will continue to use the metadata that already exists in the sidecars; but any RAWs which you edit in ACR after you change to use a Central DB will be stored only there.

I don't think that there is anyway to move metadata from suitcases to the Central DB but it would be very useful to be able to do that.

Hi,

I have supplied a context-sensitive webhelp project (produced in RoboHelp 10) to a browser-based application. There is a spasmodic problem when opening topics: an HTTP error message is displayed instead of the topic.

If you then click the browser Back button, it scrolls back to open the topic correctly.

There is no apparent logic to when the error message is displayed. For example, if you were to close the topic that had originally triggered the error and then reopen it, the error does not occur.

Our developers have been unable to resolve the problem as the log files generated by the application in which the webhelp is embedded are not cataloguing the error.

Our PAC file operating mode is very simple :

- Intranet connections are established directly

- Internet connections are established through the proxy servers.

So the web browsers’ connections to ims-na1.adobelogin.com are established through the proxy servers.

But actually, the question is more to know if this software directs the connections to the proxy servers or tries to reach Adobe servers directly.

wimmees That's actually very strange. You should have only one Creative Cloud desktop app and it should show you two sections, one "Your Apps" that shows the list of already installed apps and the other "New Apps", that give you a list of apps that you can install on this machine.

I would recommend uninstallling the Creative Cloud app using its uninstaller from Applications -> Adobe Creative Cloud -> Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud.

Once uninstalled, check if you see any of those 2 manager on the Finder menu.

Go to creative.adobe.come and download the CC desktop app and check.

Let me know in case of any issues.

Just got CC and trying to download Photoshop CC

The application manager starts updating but exit with the message:

I have tried on two computers both running Win8

Installed:

Premiere Pro CS6

Encore CS6

Lightroom 5

How do I update the application manager?

Dopo parecchi tentativi (per esser certo di escludere problemi eventualmente derivanti dal contenuto dell'elaborato), ho creato un PDF da Blocco Note (S.O.: Windows XP S.P.3) con Acrobat XI impostato con "PDF/A-1b:2005 (RGB)".

Tramite la "Verifica preliminare" di Acrobat XI mi viene confermato che il file è PDF/A-1b.

Lo firmo digitalmente in modalità anteprima.

Mi viene indicato che il documento non contiene contenuto dinamico né dipendenze esterne.

Confermo e lo salvo.

Lo chiudo, lo riapro e procedo con la "Verifica preliminare"

Mi viene segnalato che il file NON è compatibile con PDF/A-1b (2005)

In molti ambienti la lunghezza massima delle stringhe è di 65.535 byte.

Dear developers, I am hoping you can assist me with this.

The app I have been developing is close to launch date. However, the first time launching the app after installing, the game theme song cuts out after about 0.5 to 1 second. If I close the app and reopen it, the theme song plays normally.

This seems like a small issue but first impressions for an app are important and I need this song to play at launch after the app has been installed for the first time.

This problem is occuring on a Samsung 10.1 tablet running Android 4.0.4.

I can make a work around that would not play the song at all on first launch after installation, but would rather not do this.

Any ideas?
