      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:0fa0a39a-8b36-47d6-b9d7-f9436d0482f0] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;This all started a couple of days ago.&amp;#160; I was trying to read a PDF file from a web site and I could not read the PDF.&amp;#160; I then made sure the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" option in Internet Options was not checked.&amp;#160; It was and I unchecked it.&amp;#160; I still could not read the PDF.&amp;#160; I went to another website and could not read a PDF.&amp;#160; I did notice a message that Adobe had updated my reader.&amp;#160; This is sort of unusual I usually get told there is an update available.&amp;#160; I then uninstalled Adobe and tried to download the reader from adobe.&amp;#160; I click the download button and get "Do you want to Open Save or Cancel the download file?"&amp;#160; I click open and nothing happens and then click save and get "Cannot download the file"&amp;#160; I cannot X out of or cancel the message.&amp;#160; Also, the message box flashes from yellow outline with white background to all yellow.&amp;#160; Also the above message is not the expected message.&amp;#160; I have tried restarting the computer several&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; times and used the Adobe Enterprise link and that is when absolutely nothing happens.&amp;#160; No messages or anything.&amp;#160; Has something happened to my computer or for some reason is there an incompatibility that just happened three days ago. Other software like Kaspersky internet security can download its updates.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I am using Windows 7 (Home),&amp;#160; English, and Reader 11.03 (The latest) or an older version.&amp;#160; I tried to download an older version and that didn' work either&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:0fa0a39a-8b36-47d6-b9d7-f9436d0482f0] --&gt;</description>

Inside the layout, they are placed inside a box with a text wrap.       <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:106cb570-5c12-4ba6-8289-ee3743261682] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have been looking at this most of the day.&amp;#160; What I found was any time "TOOLS" or one of the online buttons are clicked or the toolbar on the right that allows you to convert a pdf to word or digitally sign is open reader closes.&amp;#160; If you can get that to stay closed reader will open.&amp;#160; And again no explanation.&amp;#160; No event log.&amp;#160; Nothing.&amp;#160; If the user is an admin it might work but for a standard user is just closes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Reader 11.0.3&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Disabled protected mode and that did not help. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This started to happen just after the last adobe and Windows update on May 14 (patch Tuesday)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:106cb570-5c12-4ba6-8289-ee3743261682] --&gt;</description>

I don't think I have seen anyone make that work successfully. Try removing that child from the merge and see if that makes a difference.
