Like any other web design program (and even print design programs like InDesign), Muse should offer the ability to create tables for display of tabular data. A demonstration and explanation of table design can be seen here: http://coding.smashingmagazine.com/2008/08/13/top-10-css-table-designs /   Tables are not a new concept (reference).  And they are still very relevant to today's HTML5 (reference).   Please do not confuse this topic with a  debate between CSS vs table based web design. Thi …

This is something we really need. I would guess if it can publish to catalyst it should work with our sites.   Thanks   Mike Mueller MUeller Design

I was dissapointed that this wasn't inlcluded in the update, its practically an essential feature thats needed in MUSE and has no-doubt been mentioned multiple times.   However I thought I'd add to the list of requests.

We are entering the post-pc era of the Internet. All web sites need to be mobile friendly. Muse needs to facilitate the creation of at least three sizes of web pages without the designer having to build three seperate sets of code. We need desktop size, tablet size and smart-phone sizes. The design needs have the ability to be smart enough to select elements which fit each of these screen sizes. The design needs to be able to drop some elements based on screen size. Things like that.

I've just subscribed to Muse only to find that forms only work on Business Catalyst sites, which I don't have and don't want. It's very limiting. Please can you add the functionality to work outside of Adobe hosted sites?

Maybe I've missed it, but I can't seem to edit master page elements on the local pages. Just as with InDesign, it would be nice to have this flexibility.

Please add the option to create a fluid/liquid layout in Muse. Most people are looking for a responsive website nowadays, and Muse only allows you to create fixed layouts. Personally I don't feel this program is worth the investment since it not only limits you to creating fixed with layout's but, it also doesn't have a built in FTP client like Dreamweaver.

Muse is in desperate need of a video player widget. I know a lot of people just upload videos to Youtube or Vimeo and use embed code, but many of us have clients who host their own videos on their own hosting packages for a variety of reasons. Right now finding a good HTML5 video player is tricky and requires hand coding. A Muse video player widget would be extremely helpful. I'm really surprised there isn't a video player widget already. How many sites are there without videos?   Please help u …

The ability to create numbered or bulleted lists has been present since the earliest specifications for HTML. It is very odd that Muse has neglected this. It needs to be added.   Crude hacks like this are no substitute for properly designed lists. There is no other web design program that prevents us from creating lists. Why is Muse deficient?   Here is the previous discussion from the beta forum: http://support.muse.adobe.com/muse/topics/lists-17wwkt

Adobe Muse is a nice alternative for designer than Dreamweaver!!!   1) It would be nice to have several 'Contact Forms' in the Widgets Library, which when you publish the site it creates a php file for it.     2) The Widgets Library is a bit basic, but its a good start! just need more and more of them!   The BBC website uses lots of cool effects, which would be nice to see in Muse     Tim

I know this has been asked MANY times but we really need the option to have the form option without a BC account. I was thinking of getting a BC account but the prices for hosting a website is ridiculous. Like I get you get a ton of other features but for people just wanting to host websites and use the forms it's just crazy. I pay $4 a month for a two year contact with my host and I get unlimited everything, web hosting, databases, emails, domains, addon domains, subdomains, ftp accounts.. etc. …

It should be possible to create a simple numbering and/or bullet point lists in Muse as it is possible in each and every simple Rich Text Editor. Not having simple text formatting options in Muse is just poor.   Also when inserting HTML like this, Muse is not rendering bullet points:   <ul>   <li>Bullet 1</li>   <li>Bullet 2</li>   <li>Bullet 3</li> </ul>     Paul

Adobe Dreamweaver has a spell checker.  But there is not a spell checker currently in Muse.  With the amount oif text in the webpages, it though Muse would have a spell checker?  Are there plans to add a spell checker in the near future?

I design websites for companies that would like to see their corporate font back on their website. It would be great when Muse supports either Google fonts or if it would have the possibility to embed fonts.

A way to easy communicate with ftp servers other than Adobes own webhosting, if you are already locked in to a host of your sites,( I can not change my site locations), it's complicated to export the whole site as html every time you make a change, the idea of having single page html export here is good also, but a built in ftp client like Dreamwever have would make life easier.

What makes Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, so usable is their use of layer. No matter where an object is on a page, you can always find it in the layers panel. MUSE deals with nesting of objects, and you are just supposed to click and click within an object to try and get to your desired image or text or widget. This becomes particularly difficult when you have a lot of elements in close proximity to one another. Why isn't there a layers or elements pallete that lets you see how elements a …

As a Graphic designer, all my career I had been usually asked about create design for eMailing, but I have never been able to do them and I always called programmers to made my design with code, if you could have a tutorial about how create nice formated email, For my point of view Muse could be a robust tool to create nice e-mais, defintly  it´ll be a killer feature, and may be you could integrate with busyness catalyst in the future...

Open Muse sites in Dreamweaver to be able to do more complex coding, even if it can't go back into Muse. That way Muse could be used as a springboard for design.

I like the way guides work in photoshop (where I can drag as many as I want from the side ruler. I know I can create them in MUSE, but they can't move since they are fixed to columns and I understand that. But I would like to be able to bring out a free floating guide I can postion anywhere. I came across the need for this because sometimes when a page has a lot of stuff I want to get aligned right the snap guides don't always seem to work very well. Being able to bring out a quick guide to alig …

There are literally thousands of widgets out on the Internet, but Muse only gives the 15 or so basic ones that are embedded in the tool (compositions, forms, menus, panels, and slideshows). Instead of waiting for each Muse release to add 1 or two widgets, can we get a method of importing 3rd party widgets into our library?   Most examples out there give you the tags to add into the header and the body, and then the .js code is a downloadable file that you can save locally. Wouldn't it be easy t …

I recently started working with MUSE and had a site which required E commerce within the site. Since MUSE does not that this incorporated within the program (unless I'm missing it) I came up with a solution, I create the item and insert the module in Business Catalyst but once I have the module number I can take that module and insert it in a MUSE design. It would be fantastic if there was a way that I could choose from a menu of modules of available modules.   This would work well in forms as …

It would be nice to create a tool or widget for calendars.  Calendars are often used to commincate events in web site and need to be updated on a regular basis.
