Announcement: Fix for WebHelp not working in IE10

A problem was found wth WebHelp viewed in Internet Explorer 10. It is described in full on Peter Grainge's website. See Item 15 at http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm#webhelp

Adobe have released three fixes.

One is to the Rh10 installation so that freshly generated help does not have this problem.

The second is to fix existing webhelp generated from Rh10 so that you do not have to regenerate.

The third is to fix webhelp generated from Rh9.

All three can be found at

The link name is misleading as the problem occurs with help viewed in IE10, regardless of whether you are using Windows 7 or 8.

Additionally, if you are using RoboHelp HTML 9, Willam van Weelden has a fix on his site for WebHelp generated from that version. That will save you having to tweak the generated help.

Manage categories

Add a new category

Edit category

Create and manage categories in RoboHelp. Removing a category will not remove content.

Categories in RoboHelp

Add a new category (0 remaining)

Only categories are allowed, right now there are too many.

Name

Tag suggestions (optional)

Use tags to recommend this category to content authors. A matching tag will display a hint next to the category name when creating content.
