Adobe Reader Touch for Windows 8 now supports printing.

Please see FAQ: How to print a PDF file from Adobe Reader Touch.

Adobe Reader Touch for Windows 8 currently doesn't support printing, but we are working on adding the ability to print in early 2013. This is the top feature on our list right now!

While we're working on adding that, here are some alternatives you can use:

  • If you are using a traditional desktop or notebook computer with an Intel CPU, you can install Adobe Reader XI and open the PDFs in Reader XI for desktop to print.
  • If you are using a Windows RT devlce like the Surface RT you can open the PDFs in Windows Reader (by Microsoft) to print.  (See Print from Surface.)

As far as I can see, there is no ability to print pdfs from Microsoft Reader either.  If it had that ability it has since been removed.

At present there appears to be no way to print pdfs from windows RT/Surface devices.

Not so easy to do without a keyboard and there's no way to call up a virtual keyboard from within the app.

Edit: However, with a little playing around I found that if you drag the settings bar from the right and select devices your installed printer is listed and can the pdf can be printed from there.

Not exactly intuitive, but doable nonetheless.
