What's New

Overall UI

   * Native Menus: Edge Code now uses native menu bars

   * Select most recently visited file after Close: Previously, the bottom-most file on the open files list was always selected.

   * "Search bars" (Find, Replace, Quick Open) no longer cover up search results that occur in the first 2 lines of code in the viewport.

Code Editing Enhancements

   * Code hinting for CSS: Code hinting support for CSS property names and values;

   * Toggle Line Comment for HTML/CSS: Ctrl+/ or Cmd+/ (Mac) toggles line comments in HTML and CSS

   * Syntax Highlighting for Python

Search Improvements

   * Quick Open / Go to Definition ranks results much better

   * Go to Definition is more responsive, especially on longer files

JSLint

   * "Go to First JSLint Error" shortcut: F8 on Windows, Cmd+' on Mac

UI Changes

   * Menu items have moved up to native menus

   * Toggle Block Comment on Mac now uses Cmd+Opt+/ (instead of Cmd+Shift+/)

   * Cmd+Left arrow on mac now behaves the same as Fn+Left arrow – the cursor moves to the first non-whitespace character on the line unless it's already on that char, in which case the cursor moves to the start of the line. (Previously, Cmd+Left always moved to the start of the line regardless of whitespace).
