Bought PST tonight. Very nice so far. However, I would like to see some improvements, if possible:
Most crucial is the ability to save the files in a desired format. Unless I missed it, I can only save a PST project based upon how I want to upload it. For example, if I send a project to my Dropbox account, it gets saved in JPEG format (along with a horrendous file name). If I send a project to my Creative Cloud account, it gets saved in PSDX format...which cannot be opened in my preferred image editor of choice, Photoshop Elements 9. Unless Adobe plans on not expanding the ability to let users who have Photoshop Elements to open PSDX files, I'm afraid this feature is pretty much useless to me.
For comparison's sake, I also have Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro for my tablet. With it, I can export a project as JPEG, PNG or PSD and put it in my Dropbox if I want. And since Sketchbook Pro works with layers and saves as PSD, I can open these projects just fine in Photoshop Elements, layers and all.
I would also like a proper way to exit Photoshop Touch as I don't know offhand if it resides in memory or not even if I use my tablets "back" icon all the way out to the home screen.
To summarize:
-Let Photoshop Elements users in on the Photoshop Touch/Adobe Creative Cloud goodness
-Let users export a project in a desired format when desired
-Let users exit Photoshop Touch properly
Other than that, Adobe did a great job of making Photoshop portable and powerful. Wish there was a way to implement my favorite image editing plug-ins, but that's neither here nor there. Good job all around. ![]()
