Using System() in C

If I were to write a simple C program that executes a batch file, then converted it to a swc using alchemy, would it be possible to fire off that same batch file in AS3 code?

    All code compiled through Alchemy is still running inside AVM2 and the same security restrictions apply as if it were AS3 code.
