Flash sites not running while in full screen

I am using HTMLLoader to navigate to flash sites and it works fine until I go to full screen. Has anyone overcome this? When it goes to full screen it still shows the web page, just no flash. Thanks for any ideas.

    Hi,

    Under the known issues in the release notes doc: http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/air/1_5/AIR_Cosmo_Develo pers_ReleaseNotes.pdf it says the flash content inside a HTMLLoader won't render correctly in full screen window.

    But I'm also curious to know, does your app have transparent set to true in the application descriptor?

    the release notes say it has issues in non-interactive mode, I'm using doing :
    stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE;
    Is there maybe something else I need to set to full screen interactive? I know I saw somewhere that the person was setting the htmlLoader's stage to full screen interactive. I tried that but it did nothing.

    I have the window style set to "system chrome". I tried transparent and no flash sites worked(full or normal screen) and opaque worked the same as system chrome.

    I am also having this problem, which is a real show-stopper for the app I am developing. It needs to be able to play an FLV file through a SWF in full screen mode. However, SWF files do not show in full screen mode. If I hit ESC, then window shrinks down, and the movies start playing.

    This seems like a rather significant bug. Anyone aware of a workaround?

    Hi,

    I can reproduce this issue. SWFs in a HTMLLoader don't work while you're in Fullscreen interactive mode as well.

    I've notified the appropriate people. (which also means, Sadly, I don't have a workaround for you guys right now.)

    This issue should be fixed in the AIR 1.5.1 release available today ( http://get.adobe.com/air/). You can set 1.5.1 in the app descriptor to make sure your users have this version.

    updating to 1.5.1 fixed it.thank! Is there a update to this version for cs4?

    You only need to update the SDK for AIR in CS4.
