KTML

Apr 24, 2007 5:39 AM

Please bring back KTML and also some of the other innterakt products that were stopped before Kollection was released;

MX Kart
MX Komerce
MX Calendar
MX Dynamic Charts
MX Breadcrumbs

etc.

These were the reason that I originally found the interakt products, I was gutted when I found out that these parts were no longer available from interakt, let alone when KTML and CSS Menus were removed from ADDT.

Guess I will just have to run both version at the same time!

    A great alternative product to use for CSS drop down menus is the Sothink DHTML Menu. I'm using it here http://www.crosscourt.ca. the menus are dynamic and you have full control over positioning and style.

    It would be good to see the guys from the old Interakt comment here.

    Seems the KTML replacement problem is being ignored.

    It feels like now they have all moved up in the world, they don't care about the userbase that got them there?

    I have to agree. It seems like ever since they came out with the first tripped down version "featurless version" they stopped all development improvements on all the advanced web development tools. Its almost as if they Adobe purchased the best available development tools for the sole purpose of driving developers away from Dreamweaver, ASP and PHP.

    No One makes extentions as good or even close to the extentions InterAKT Online produced, WebAssist comes close but just do not cut it like the InterAKT guys did.

    There are two excellent alternatives: FCKeditor and TinyMCE both of which have been discussed at length in the PHP Development forum and Gunther has done a lot of work with TinyMCE. What would be nice is for Adobe to integrate FCKeditor into ADDT. That has been done for the Coldfusion folks.
    Cheers.
