Oh, I forgot to say that all the comments concerning buildings vs photographs were generated first as a response to Oz, who "got it". The rest of you who think my people are fakes, buzz off! :-)
LH I see your having fun! I bet you thought she was as well I have work with some of these same type folk.
When I was young about 22 years old I worked as a freelance person for MoMA, actually a the time I was their freelance person. And i was assign to work with a man who is a very famous architect now an is very well regarded. He has many exhibitions of his work world wide including one at MoMA two years ago.
He said to me while instructing me how to arrange the the layouts"My mind was like a computer!"
I all I could think of is I hope he doesn't hurt me when he finally loses control of the rest of his senses!
It isn't that warm in L.A. right now. It's cold and rainy, and even though the temps aren't are physically cold, it's a much damper cold that feel much colder than it really is. Forty-five here can feel like the twenty-two I was just in at Mammoth. Don't bring your swimsuit Wade.
I hope I didn't offend you any Wade. I just never heard of the word lay for anything other than "lay down" or "getting layed" First thing that came to my mind was a difference in meaning due to another country like England(for example).
The funny part is I am in the northern part of New York. And no I never been to LA. But I have been to Colorado.
No it was a funny typo of course and you did not offend anyone it was so long ago i do not remember her name I only remember the scars and that she had the same birthday as Christie Brinkley.
I do not know why I remember that, I remember they look alike.
Well, as long as you're coming all the way to L.A., may I suggest a side trip to one of the most beautiful places on earth - five hours from here - Death Valley National Park. Not a better place on the planet to get away from pretty much anywhere, except that international light polution is now so prevalent that you can see the glow from Las Vegas in the middle of the night.
I am sad to hear that the gloriously dark night-sky in Death Valley (which is indeed one of the jewels of this continent) has been "poisoned" by Las Vegas.
I was delighted to find that the night sky still remains unsullied at Crater Lake, Oregon when I was there last year; but such places are becoming fewer and fewer.
