InDesign Leopard Hide Show Baseline

Nov 27, 2007 10:23 AM

Has anyone been having a problem with the hide shot baseline grid shortcut keys under Leopard? I can hide show through the menu but not with shortcuts keys.

Possible bug?

Don't expect anything to work as usual in Leopard until there is an update för Leopard (I assume you updated to Leopard 10.5.1). Even if most things work as supposed to, expect anomalies of various kinds. You could also try to delete your preferences to see if that brings it back.

Strange. I'm on Leopard on my MacBook Pro. Mac OS X 10.5.2. I have no problem using Cmd+Option+' to toggle on/off baseline grid.

Check your System Preferences > Keyboard and Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts to make sure the OS isn't capturing the keystroke for something else.

Did you try editing the keyboard shortcut to something else (Edit > Keyboard Shortcut)?

    That's it! Thanks!

You have to go to System Preferences > Keyboard and Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts and then de-select "Move focus to the window drawer" shortcut. New operating systems can be so quirky.
