Keyboard shortcuts do not change external editing options on the fly (Photoshop Lightroom 2)

Problem: You cannot change file format, color space, bit depth, or compression level on the fly when editing photos in Photoshop from Photoshop Lightroom 2.0, as you could in Photoshop Lightroom 1.3 by using the keyboard shortcut Command+E (Mac OS) or Ctrl+E (Windows).

Reason: Editing photos in Photoshop is faster when these options are not available.
