He's about 85 pounds and I suspect he will get a little bigger.

I had a friend who had a Greyhound from a rescue, Casey beat the Greyhound in a sprint.

A couple of weeks ago Casey was still chasing after a softball, her back legs are shot but she doesn't give up. I know I am going to have to let her go soon so I am taking every day I get with her as a blessing.

Casey reminds me of our sadly missed Rambo, he made it until 1 week short of his 16th birthday (5 years ago).

Both so that Bailey has a buddy and because of the fact that he's about 8-1/2 years old and I know it's gonna rip my heart out when he "goes"; so I better have another dog around to help ease the pain. <br /> <br />Bailey's best friend for a few years was a Golden named Sundance. They're wonderful dogs---and I know all about their tendency for "ball-hoggedness". We got him a friend when he was an old man in his teens. Tigger's the orange kitty, and Krystal is the other one. Molly McButter to be exact. <br /> <br />At one time we had three generations of Shih-Tzu's in my mom's house. My mom had Muffin. Muffin was bred to have 4 puppies, one we kept, who was Sushi (Shih-Tzu backwards.) Sushis was the neighborhood slut. No matter how many holes we patched up, she got out and got pregnant. Everytime we'd take her to get her fixed, she was pregnant. She had about 6 litters, that we found good homes for every adorable puppy! Her last litter was with a Yorkie... Molly came from it. <br /> <br />Molly was born on December 29th, 1990. She is still alive and living with my mother, but last I heard was not in good health. I don't now how I'll react when my little girl finally passes. Molly and I used to have the kind of friendship that a girl and her dog should have. She knew when I was happy, sad, sick, whatever. <br /> <br />Oh yeah - and that's my mother. I haven't seen her in over 2 years. We don't speak.

Angie will be 10 next week. Retreiver/husky mutt. Our son's 'little sister'. Just the greatest...

I thought the cats were outnumbering us for a while there, but the dogs made a comeback at the end. :)
