We were at our town's Homecoming festival this weekend, and there was a band playing on the bandstand. Rachel saw this, and improvised her own microphone. amazingly, I'm in front of the camera and not behind it! I told my kids I have to try do that more or they will never have any photos of me. :)

I've been to Disney World twice in my life. We were standing in line with my great-nephew for photo ops with other characters when I saw Mickey coming out. Since there were enough of us, I sent my daughter to stand in Mickey's line while I stayed in Tigger's line. When it was our turn, I jumped ship and ran over to get my photo with my idol! ;) <br /> <br />I had been singing M-I-C (see ya real soon), K-E-Y (why? because we *like* you), M-O-U-S-E since I was 4 years old! In fact, I was given the nickname of Mickey because of it (nope, not my real name, but that was okay with me! ;)). I just *had* to get a photo of him and me together. :) <br /> <br />oh yeah, I did let the kids get their photos taken too ... ;) <br /> <br />Regarding photos of me with the goldens, I do have a photo of me with my old boy Dillon. He passed away (14 years old)in Feb, 2005. Jack is on a Mickey kick now. I think he's passed over the Wiggles stage, finally. Now, they have Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney, and that's all he wants on. And he'll yell out the answers, and dance, and sing along. It's very cute - and amazingly educational! I've seen him use some of the processes they teach on the show in day to day stuff.

But, anytime we see anything Mickey, we have to buy it or we have a screaming fit. Luckily, we can bribe him with the stuff we have at home. Almost bought a picture today for him though. It was a framed version of just Mickey and the fireman (not the other stuff on this one). He loves Mickey and firetrucks, and we tell him how Firemen are heros, so he's pretty much in awe of them.

Jack picked that out that morning - It was Mickey Screaming, and he liked it. LOL. He's on a Mickey Mouse kick lately.

That was his 3rd birthday party.

LOL.. thanks, guys. You can't see, but I actually have highlights, so it really is a bit girly for me. But I do love it! I might keep this cut longer than just 6 months (that's prety much standard for me a hair style)
