She's gorgeous! And it's nice to see you smile... I know it can be difficult at times with the situation.

    >Yes she certainly takes after her daddy.

She does! She's really starting to look like you. No offense, but she's way prettier, though. ;)

    What a sweet baby.

aww Mat, she is adorable! :D

I agree with Tom, though, get some video! You might tire of them right now ... but there is nothing like *hearing* that giggle to simply melt your heart. Happens regularly with me and my kids are 13 and nearly 16.

    Moto,

I'm lucky so far, the kids are still willing to hug me (us) and say they love me (us), even when their friends are withing earshot. :) I'm dreading the day when they're "too cool" to do that. :|

    >have been told if i want to see my baby I have to fight it out in court.

Then so be it. Sounds to me like she's using the baby to get you back for whatever she's angry about. She's wrong, man!

    I'm sorry Mat, that's just wrong. :(

I hope you can find a way to afford the money to take her to court for your parental/visitation rights.

Any chance of a mediator being found?

    >I bought a video cam as suggested, But looks like im not going to get the chance to use it. I am being refused all access, and have been told if i want to see my baby I have to fight it out in court. (she has probably started walking and talking by now, but i wouldn't know )

    that is not right.

concentrate, mat. put blinders on like a horse and see fight it through court to get to be with your daughter and like oz said maybe get a mediator

EDIT: btw, many attorneys will see you for a consultation for 10-15 minutes free when you're shopping for an attorney to represent you, so, what you can do is see several in two weeks and take their advice and use it in court

A judge or mediator could change that.

    >seems im not aloud to go

You're letting her make the rules. Stop being her ***** and do something!

Over here in NZ there are rather large Legal Aid grants available, if you can't afford a lawyer. Seeing as our system is based on yours, I'd imagine it's the same over there.

Start fighting bro, the family court can be pretty fair from my experience. And as far as I've seen they don't care if Dad likes to smoke a bit of pot. ;)

That's true here in the US too. That was one of the things my lawyer asked me about at our first meeting. Might be the same thing for you too!

You can get visitations at the very least, M. As a father, you have every right to see your daughter! Chances are she's going to keep walking all over you as long as you allow her to do that. Fight back! That's your flesh and blood!

I know about the legal aid because although I got a 20K legal bill, my ex paid sweet FA.

OK, you go ahead and keep telling yourself that you're not her *****. Keep sitting there with your arms crossed doing nothing but complaining about how ****** life is treating you and see how well that turns out.

I did that for more than a year and got nothing out of it. Well, not nothing. Got pain and misery a plenty.

    >go f***k yourself please Jason. I realy dont care how good your intentions where.

Tried to help you snap out of it and that's what I get. You're welcome. Any time, bud.

Actually, it seemed like more than a year but it wasn't even that long. Not even close.

    Anyway, I'll leave you be.

    Have a nice life.
