"Adobe® Reader® for Symbian OS software lets you to view Adobe PDF
files on Nokia 6680 Smartphones and, Nokia Communicator 9500 series
    and 9210/9290 devices. "

No mention of the 6300, what makes anyone think it can be installed
    there?

I also have a nokia 6300, here is how i read pdf file easily...

After waiting for 2 years for adobe to solve the issue of viewing pdf file on my mobile phone, i come up with a fast and easy solution :) and it works very well for me on my nokia 6300 series 40.

To easily read Adobe pdf on your mobile phone without scrolling left and right(Nokia series 40 and Symbian OS), you can copy and paste your pdf file into your note on your PC. Save as a text file and download to your mobile phone.

You can use free Yong Reader to read the large text file quickly and simply. Yong Reader is available at http://www.doitech.com/reader .Alternatively, you can download it immediately by pointing your mobile browser to link http://www.doitech.com/r.jar

Just to update, i have a better way to view PDF as HTML on any phone browser. It does not need any installation!

Online version of iReader works on any phone that comes with a web browser such as iPhone, Nokia or PocketPC. Conveniently, reading can be done offline as it automatically save on your phone! It will automatic bookmark upon exit too. To use iReader, go to http://www.doitech.com/iReader now!

Enjoy! It is a beautiful world...

The Nokia 6300 came with Adobe Reader for Symbian OS v1.1, on the 6300 and on the CD-ROM.

If you don't have the Adobe Reader on your Communicator and don't have the CD...

On Nokia's Web site, search to Support for the 6300, then click on Downloads. One of the pages has downloads of the software that was originally included with the 6300, including Adobe Reader for Symbian OS v1.1. You can download it for free from the Web site.

OK. Let me simplify my last post. To download Adobe Reader for Symbian OS v1.1 from Nokia's WWW site, go to: http://www.nokiausa.com/A4410163 .

How's that for straight to the source? :)

OMG! My brain must be going! Please forgive me, and ignore my previous posts for Adobe Reader on the 6300. The info I gave was for the __9300__, not the 6300.

Feeling sheepish, I have done a little looking around for pdf readers for the 6300. Didn't find much, but try http://www.torrentreactor.net/find/pdf-reader-nokia-6300 . There are links to an external site that claims three free pdf readers for the 6300. No descriptions, so caveat emptor.

    Yesp, red-faced

    Hi everyone,

Due to the overwhelming use of yong ireader (for reading adobe pdf text on mobile phone), i have shift the website to

http://ireader.homeip.net - web-based version on iphone, nokia, pocketpc or any phone with a web browser

    and

http://ireader.homeip.net/reader - device based installation only on nokia, LG, Samsung, Motorola or any phone with java ability.

The site www.doitech.com/reader is not longer in use! Please do not hesitate to contact me via facebook or email if you need any assistance. Thank you very much!

Yong iReader is used conveniently for offline reading with auto-scrolling, auto-bookmark and font size adjustment. It uses the Copy & Paste method to bring adobe pdf text to your mobile phone. It is 100% free!
