Hi,
I'm working with Captivate 4 and creating text buttons that look like links (transparent background with the text underlined so it appears to look like a link). Is it possible to left align the text in the button? I noticed that you can align the text captions. I do not see the same options for the text buttons.
Thanks,

Hi there
Sorry, No option to left align text in the button that I'm aware of.
Normally what we do is to place the text in a caption. Transparent caption if you like. Then format the text blue and underlined. From there, layer in a Click Box object to do the linking.
Note that you do have the option of adjusting the overall size of the button. Perhaps that will help?
Cheers... Rick

Hi, this is a reply for anyone, who like me, was still looking for an answer to this question. I'm using captivate 6 and wanted to left align a text button, which as far as I can tell still isn't possible. However, I found that you can set a smart shape to be both a text box and a button by changing the smart shape into a 'title smart shape' in the style drop down box and then ticking the 'use as button' box. Completely solved my problem! Hope it helps anyone who has found themselves here

If you had read the blog post I published on the release day of CP6, and read the many blog posts or seen the webinar I did on shape buttons, you would never again use an ordinary button anymore
