Cannot hear mouse clicks

I have activated the "mouse click sound" in properties, but I still do not hear any clicks when editing recorded projects (CP4). One minute they were working, the next minute they're gone. Please help, as my eyes are burning from searching countless forums.

I think I fixed it myself just by shutting down and re-starting Captivate. But feel free to offer any suggestions in case this happens again!
