Lightroom not opening completely

Okay, so this morning I went to edit images in a catalog (150-200 images) Lightroom starts to open like always. The splash screen comes up and displays all of the "credits" like it would while it opens the last catalog, and that is it. The splash banner never goes away. I have down a restart and shut down (Windows Vista 64 bit) Anyone know what is going on here?
