I have a bunch of 1920x1080i MPEG2 .m2t files that I would like to edit together with PE7. I'm a little confused about what preset I should choose when creating a new project. Any advice would be great.
In the presets menu, it says the HDV 1080i 30 preset is "Frame size: 1440h 1080v (1.333)". Will this still work if I'm editing 1920x1080i MPEG2 files? Thanks.
The 1440x1080i with a 1.333 PAR is the HDV MPEG2 standard, it will work with 1920x1080i. What source are your files and what do you want to export as? You have the option to export as 1920x1080i or 1440x1080i.
