LR 2.4  Is there a way to make the filmstrip vertical like LR 1?

I want to change the filmstrip from horizontal along the bottom to vertical on the right margin.  Can this be done in LR 2?

    No, the filmstrip is fixed to the bottom.

    Thanks Ian.  I was afraid of that.

     

    Here's the problem.  When shooting vertial images tethered to my laptop,  I need a bigger preview for the client's perusal.  Can I hide the filmstrip in order to get the maximum image area on this 15 inch screeen?  Clients prefer to see the entire image even though they know we can increase the size of the preview with cropping.  Any ideas?

    Click on the little triangle at bottom edge of filmstrip.

     

    Also note that Tab toggles the side panels open/closed and Shift+Tab toggles side panels and top/bottom panel open /closed.

    Also note there is No LR version 2.4, yet. The larest available is 2.3! ANd no word from Adobe when and if a 2.4 will be out.

    Another suggestion would be to plug in a larger non-wide-screen monitor and run the Loup view on this second screen where there aren't any extra panels on the second display.

     

    You might even be able to rotate the second monitor to portrait mode and tell the video card about the rotation and have LR use it, but I don't have one of those rotatble monitors so can't verify this.
