Problem:
- no yellow ribbon for the Adobe website
(no gold bar)
- installed a program but not seen a "gold bar"
Solutions:
Please try these solutions IF this will work: ( we still haven't tested this procedure )
Your Internet Explorer is running in without Add-ons mode which mean any toolbars (gold bar), Active X will be disabled.
-You should click Start > All Programs and locate Internet Explorer and run the normal mode IE.
Your gold bar should return when IE is running in normal mode again.
- OR -
If the online install of the Flash Player is failing, you can try the manual installation method.
1. Download and save the manual Flash Player Uninstaller file to your Desktop :
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash _player.exe
2. Download and Save the manual Flash Player Installer file to your Desktop:
http://www.macromedia.com/go/full_flashplayer_win_ie
3. Disconnect from the internet and temporarily disable any realtime Antivirus programs running in the background.
4. Run the Uninstaller file to remove the current version of the Flash Player.
5. Run the Installer file to install the latest version of the Flash Player on your machine.
6. Re-enable your Antivirus software and Test your site again.
7. If the above procedure does not resolve your issue, then Open a Flash Player technical support case via "webcase" at: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/
