What you really mean is how can you test your Dreamweaver created pages on your local computer. There are three ways to do that without risking contamination between the different versions by using hacks that claim to allow you to run multiple versions of IE side by side. They are:

Most reliable if you have sufficient ram and hard drive space is to download the free VirtualPC 2007 from Microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=04D26402-3199 -48A3-AFA2-2DC0B40A73B6 then get the free VPC testing images from the IE team from http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/details.aspx?FamilyID=21eabb90-958f -4b64-b5f1-73d0a413c8ef&displaylang=en they have testing images for IE 6, IE 7 and IE 8. These are time bombed so you have to download new images approximately every 3 months.
You can use Adobe BrowserLab http://browserlab.adobe.com/ slots open up as capacity is available - Browserlab has the added benefit of letting you see how your page looks on Mac browsers as well but is a static screenshot.
You can use Micrsoft SuperPreview http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=8e6ac106-525d -45d0-84db-dccff3fae677&displaylang=en this is beta software and to get IE 7 & 8 you have to have IE 8 on your computer then use compatability mode for IE 7.

Both 2 and show you how your pages render but do not provide interactivity for things like dropdown or other javascript.

Note anyone with a Mac and Parallels can use the VPCs MS provides in it for testing as well.

A solution I use regularly is to use the sandboxed application streaming website http://www.xenocode.com/Browsers/ - which allows you to load:

ie6, ie7, ie8, FF3, FF2, chrome, Opera 9.6 and Safari 3

all at the same time through a simple plugin which you install so you can host the sandboxed environment on your PC. None of these apps effect your existing environment.

I went to the we site, Thier service is free.

When I hit a download, the brower button countirues to 'click' to open up. I did not block the site. Not sure what is happening.

Adobe browserlab is a winner (don't know why I've not used it before). I've seen a couple of other web-based 3rd-party solutions, but this just about real-time, and a keeper.

Yes, IE Tester - I have been using it for about a year now and it is very helpful and works surprisingly well.
