How can i setup a Connection string to SQL Server ?

I'd like to plug my flex projects directly to a SQL server database instead of calling webservices.

 

Is that possible and how ?

    If you want to risk dropping the security of your MySQL server by exposing its ports directly to the cloud then you can use

     

    http://code.google.com/p/assql/

     

    to make the connection.

    Hi,

     

    thank you for the link, but this is only for AIR projects. Mine is in SWF files via html over an intranet.

     

    any clue ?

    I think it is aimed at AIR apps, but will work for normal flash apps.
