Let me recommend the excellent fxguide for serious training in all things visual effects. The 4th term has just started (but you can join anytime) and among topics like a great course in After Effects motion graphics and design (the professor is Mark Christensen, author of the book "After Effects 7 Studio Techniques.) There's also everything from Character Design" to Photoshop CS3 training.
