Hi,
I'm trying to printout PDF-files via scheduled task. The task runs a batch-file, this batch starts AcroRd32.exe wiht following param
aters: /p /h [FileToPrint].
If I run the batch/task manually every thing works fine. But if I'm not logged on and the task runs automatically, no PDF-files were
printed.
What can I do? Did I use wrong parameters?
I am also having what I believe is the same problem. Basically, if we try and print a pdf document from a windows service (session 0), Acrobat Reader crashes. This is only an issue under Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 - it was not an issue under XP or Server 2003. I suspect that it has something to do with the Session 0 Isolation introduced in these later windows version (so it may also be in Vista - I haven't tried that), or it may also be a SysWow thing (as I notice 2 instances of AcroRd32.exe start up when printing a document in the desktop session)..
Wondering if anyone knows any sort of work-around for this?
Cheers,
Mick
I experience the same problem with Reader X. However there is no problem with Reader 9.5 and 8.3..
