Which LCD display for better colors?

I know most of you would prefer a CRT monitor for better colors but what are the options if i choose an LCD/TFT display? I tried and returned two LCD monitors in past and i don't want to waste more time and money. I heard Eizo ColorEdge series have good colors but they are way expensive. any ideas?

    Nevermind... After some research, I bought two Dell Ultrsharp 2209WA monitors. These are e-IPS pannels and are far better in colors and viewing angles compared to the ordinary TN pannels. IPS pannels are expensive but worth every penny ...

    The Dell Monitor is superb, clear, and is calibratable, a quality necessary for all serious photographers.

    Xaibo, I use NEC 1990 SXi for three years. Superb monitor! It was calibrated on a factory! Unfortunately it is not in a stock now. You can look at new NEC series. Also NEC has good support service. I had receive an answer about advanced monitor gamma setup quickly.
