CS4 Creative Suite 4 Master Collection Installation Error (Disk 1 Won't Eject)

I'm trying to install CS4 Master Suite on my iMac OSx and am stuck at the prompt:

"Adoe Creative Suite 4 Master Collection - Please insert Disk 2 to continue installation"

I have the two options:   Quit   and   Ok

I click OK, Disk 1 just sits and spins. I cannot manually eject Disk 1 because its mounted.

Anyone else have this issue?  Any ideas on how to correct it?

Was there ever an answer to this?

I've seen dozens of complaints about this problem (with no answers), and I'm having it on disks I purchased that arrived today.

No, no answer. I stopped the installation and rebooted, reinstalled,

worked like a charm.

Yeah, that didn't work for me.

So, I booted a second laptop in target mode, inserted disk 2, attached the second laptop to my first laptop via firewire, and read both disks at once. It worked.

Necessity is the mother of invention ...
