The Document Cannot be saved. A number is out of range.

I am attempting to save a PDF file and I keep getting the following error: The Document Cannot be saved. A number is out of range.

 

What does this mean and how can I fix it?

    Hi,

     

    I'm sorry you're having trouble. Is this a PDF that you've converted using CreatePDF on Acrobat.com? If so, if you've added a special character (such as #) to the document title, it could be causing the problem. Can you try renaming the orignal with no special characters, than reuploading and converting again? You should be able to download then.

    Hi Michelle,

     

    Thanks for your help. I actually wasn't able to rename it. We ended up closing it and saving it without opening the file first. That seemed to work.

    I've found that if you have the file open...click "Send to Email"...then when your email program opens right-click on the attachment, and choose "save as".  It seems to allow me to save it that way for anyone else having this problem!
