I'm having the same issues. I'm also noticing an increase the Flex Builder crashing. Some instances the app freezes and the only way to recover is to force quit.

I have a very strange issue where the line numbers don't scroll, but only on my second monitor. So if I scroll through a file, the lines move but the line numbers are fixed. If I then move the window over to my main laptop monitor the line number correct them selves and start scrolling again...

This has only happened since updating to Snow Leopard and I have re installed Flex builder since, with no resolution.

My second monitor is View Sonic, and I'm running a 15" MacBook Pro (pre unibody)

I've had the same issue with the line numbers. Really weird. It happens for me in standalone Eclipse, Flex Builder 3, and Flash Builder Beta.

Wow, you're completely right. I hadn't noticed the second monitor issue until just now because Flex/Flash Builder is almost always on the second. Line numbers scroll just fine on my primary monitor.

Also, has anyone noticed a crazy amount of CPU usage when Flex/Flash Builder is Building the workspace or launching the application? When I look at the processes in Activity Monitor, a process called "fontd" uses ~95%. I've done some searching and all I can find is it has something to do with system fonts. Most people recommend clearing your font caches by booting into Safe Mode and/or using Font Book to resolve any duplicate fonts. I've tried both multiple times, yet the problem is still there. Any ideas?

What make of monitors are you guys using. Is it all additional monitors or just non apple ones?

If I mirror my display or alternate which is the default, it still breaks on the ViewSonic monitor, must be something to do with the drivers and Java.

Anyone have the scroll problem with other apps?

The stuck line numbers problem just started happening to me too. I'm also on a MacBook Pro 15-inch using a Dell 2407, running OS X 10.6.

There is a painful workaround: Resizing the window causes the line numbers to update (once).

I can also confirm the same problem ,this is my setup:

• Macbook Pro 15" 2.4 (Penryn)
• Snow Leopard 10.6.1 (update)
• Second Monitor Samsung SyncMaster T240HD
• Eclipse 3.4.2
• Flex Build 3.0.2.214193

This is really slowing me down, since working on the 15" screen is a hassle when handling code. My setup worked fine in Leopard. Hope Adobe figures this one out soon

I have found that by fiddling with Display preferences on my MacBook I can get the external screen to work. Not sure exactly what controls it, though.

To "fix" the problem with the line numbers refreshing go to display prefrences>Arrangment and drag the dock to the screen that you're running flex on. That will just move your primary screen to the external monitor. Total hack, but gets you working again.

Right. You need to restart your machine as well. Sorry, I left that part out.

Thanks for the tip on restarting. I have been tearing my hair out with reinstalls, downgrading eclipse, etc. Sigh, YAFBFU (Yet Another Flex Builder ... ).

Same problem on my macbookpro (Snow Leopard 10.6.2).

Scrolls correctly only on primary monitor, not on the secondary one.
