Hi guys

i got a big question and i hope smbd can help me.

I'm right now buldin an app to store videos on fms.

It works quite nice to record my cam and stream it later. It's also quite easily possible to view .flv files.

My quest is the following:

Is it somehow possible to select a movie (avi, mpg, ...) on the local pc and use a flash file to convert it to a readable .flv and store it on the fms?

no.  air might be able to do that but that would not be an easy task.

google posts by tinic uro to see if he has written anything about that.

You will have to do some research, but I don't think it will be possible to

do it from remote machine, but if you want to convert mpeg, ... to flv then

I think you will have to work on codec. Try to search for ffmpeg.
