Can't cut and paste while in editing mode

While I am actually in editing mode within InContext, I can't seem to cut/paste a line from one paragraph and add it to another. I can cut the line but not paste. I have gotten the below window, but even ctrl-v doesn't work. I can cut and paste from another application into the editable areas.

I am on a PC.

 

Anyone else have this problem?

    I am having the exact same problem and error message in FireFox 3.0.11 (have tried with earlier FF versions and Safe Mode with no success).  I also  have IE 8 but it doesn't support InContextEditing.

     

    Maybe 1% of the time it will paste, but I can't pinpoint why it works when it does.  Thanks for any help.

    I am using FF 3.0.11 on a PC. I currently am only using FF as I have updated all of my other browsers (IE, Safari), which currently aren't supported by Adobe.

    Hello dbraphael,

     

    I've made several tests using Firefox 3.0.11, on Win XP, on your site (the about/history.html page). I can copy text from an editable region and paste it in the same editable region, or in another, using CTRL+C and CTRL+V schortcuts. I can also paste text copied from notepad files.

     

    Can you please try to open the Error Console (from Firefox Tools - Error Console) and let us know if there is any error that appears when you try to copy/paste? Clear the console first, then try to copy/paste while leaving it open. Let us know if there is any error listed.

     

    Also, can you please attach a screenshot with the plugins that you have installed and enabled? And another thing, are you aware that any plugin that you have installed might have changed the CTRL+V shortcut to something else (some other action?)

    Nothing happens in my error console either.

    Ok. I just did some quick tests. I turned off Microsoft DRM plugins (there are 2 of them) and so far that seems to have fixed the issue. I noticed that those were the 2 that me and JagerSmithPC have in common.

     

    Anyone else get those results? Florin, do you have those plugins?

    dbraphael,

     

    Great idea mate, but unfortunately your solution did not work for me.  I disabled both MS DRM plugins and restarted FireFox and still did not have the ability to copy/paste.

     

    Florin,

     

    After following dbraphael's advice and disabling the DRM plugins I also cleared the error console and, from when I enter my site to when I attempt to paste I receive the following messages:

    JagerSmithPC,

     

    I have read that these plugins and can be difficult to remove or disable. Did you check to see if they were still disabled after restarting FF? I actually deleted them from my system.

    My client is having the same issue on PC and on a Mac, seems to be a bug. Has anyone come up with a soloution yet?

    Or it's working for a while than it suddenly stops working?

    Is this happening on a specific page or on all pages? Please provide a link to a page where copy&paste doesn't work and eventually invite me as an editor (dpopa@adobe.com).

    It did work for a while then stopped. Then yesterday worked once. Then 

    stopped.

    Hi, I'm the web designer. Here are answers from the client Glenn who 

    is doing the updates.

     

    He has tried on a PC and a Mac. Works fine for me.
