Find invalid characters Javascript CS3

Hi All,

 

I have a problem with invalid characters finding. that is, Im using "ABCD" font with my document, after some time i want to change "DCBA" font, procedure im using is selet all the text and changed to "DCBA" font. Here some of the characters not found in the incoming("DCBA") fonts then it is highlight in different color. I want to find those highlighted invalid characters.

 

Is there any idea regarding this, should be appreciated.

    hi

     

    one of the ways - convert to outlines ... when you try to outline character and you have error - glyph is missing

    Robin,

     

    app.selection[0].characters.item(0).createOutlines(false);

     

    Im tried with the above code, but it is changing the character also. Anyway i want to go character by character.

     

    Is there any other solution for finding globally?
