Adobe Lab for browser compatibility check - Need help

I would like to use Adobe Lab for browser compatibility check. Could you please confirm whether I can use Labs for the sites deployed in development servers, or it needs to be a live internet site?

    There is a technology on Labs called BrowserLab that is designed to assist with browser compatibility. Is this question regarding BrowserLab or is the question more general?
