I'm using Incontext editing to set up 2 x websites. One is a school, the other a nursery. Both are education establishments. When I began each project I was not aware that there would be a cost for Incontext come 2011.
Since these are both education establishments will Adobe be offering reduced rate or possibly free use of the service - much like the massively reduced rates they offer on their software?
Many thanks for taking the time to read and answer this query.
Glad to hear you're using InContext Editing. Now, when it comes to pricing, all I can say now is that we don't have any new information (in addition to what is already published) but we will publish any updates well in advance so that you can have enough reaction time.
Thanks for your reply Christinel. I do really like the service and I think that it makes it so easy for the non-techies who will be upating the site - so thanks to you and the team.
I do second the people on the forum who are requesting image re-sizing capabilities on upload (such as Facebook or Wordpress - they auto re-size images to the right rez etc.) so I'm sure you guys are smart enough to implement that. Would be a great feature and a time saver so the conent editors don't have to do all the resizing, then upload their files.
Thank you for your comments.
I like the fact that today's web site editors have more and more power and start asking, and more important using, more advanced features like image editing. This used to be reserved to designers, maybe because of the "don't break the layout" fear, is starting to move to editors and we, as everyone else we'll have to offer support for these workflows.
Thanks again for the feedback,
