Problem opening a pdf

Apr 24, 2009 9:28 AM

Hello,

I have received an offer regarding some real estate plans from Sternon Intercity but i can't open the pdf. As I was told, there are some large pictures there, can that be the problem? It just says corrupt file and nothing else happens. Does anyone have a clue what i should do about that?

Many thanks,

Taylor

If you got a message that the file is corrupt, that is more than likely accurate.

If the fie was emailed to you (the most popular cause of a corrupt PDF), have them either Zip the file berore emaiing or, post it to a web site and email the link to you for downoading.

If I understand you correctly, I would say you have a file associations problem.Unfortunately, I don't know how to correct this in Wndows, but similar questions have been posted many times.

And next time you have a new question, open a new thread for it.

    Hi Claudio,

You must of hit the wrong reply button because your answer to this question went to jiseguerreros and I was not the one asking this particular question. I am the one with the problem not being able to download the acrobat adobe reader. Thanks!

If you look at the header of my message, you'll see that it's in response to Sooty1234, not to you. If you received an email announcing my message, it was because you'll receive one everytime a new message is posted here until you unsusbscribe. This is one of the problems of inserting new questions in existing threads.

Well, after posting my message, I noticed that you hadn't been participating in this discussion at all, so I cannot imagine how my message, posted from here in reply to a message posted here, maged to reach you. Very peculiar; I don't think I had seen this before.

And sorry but no, I don't know the answer to your question in the other thread...
