Hi there
What is the purpose for knowing them? Are you hoping to configure a consistent placement? If so, you may be interested in a freeware application called AppSizer.
Click here to view the App Sizer page
I use this application all the time to assist in positioning and sizing applications for recording.

Thanks. Yes, I want to know so that if I need to stop recording and then
return to recording, I put the red box in the same place on the screen. Will
this help?

Hi again
By using a bit of "outside the box" thinking, it's fairly simple.
I use AppSizer to configure a specific location and size. That part is very easy to do in the AppSizer application. Then you open your application and AppSizer adds its icon into your menus. You then use it to size and position the application window as you wanted. Then use Captivate to snap to the window and record.
But perhaps you instead want to just define an arbitrary area on your screen, yet have it always be in the same position. You would do this in a similar manner. Open something like Windows Notepad. Size and position it using AppSizer. Snap Captivate to Notepad, then close Notepad and this should then leave behind just the recording rectangle all properly positioned and sized.
Cheers... Rick
