Liverpool had a must-win game at Aston Villa that was nil-nil after 90 minutes, but deep in stoppage time Fernando Torres got a loose ball and dribbled into the box before firing a shot into the back of the net, seconds before the final whistle!

There were plenty of thrills before the goal, and even YOU know that by now.

Wow!  The stress levels here were sky high, but Liverpool's pressure in last quarter of the match paid off.  Villa made a mistake and Torres pounced, striking like a cobra!

It's Reading in the FA Cup at the weekend, and then Tottenham at home.

Absolutely.  Teams with players in other national sides are very concerned for their security. At the moment, they're still going to be released to play. I'm watching Arsenal v Everton, and there are several African players on the pitch who knew the wounded and other players well.

Landon Donovan made a very impressive start for Everton, who were unlucky not to win. With the next three fixtures in the Prem being Everton, Arsenal and City, a little winning streak would be sweet!!

I just saw another sad story, and I hope this act of vandalism doesn't go any further:

United States midfielder DaMarcus Beasley's BMW car has been set on fire outside his home in Glasgow.

Police in the Scottish city are continuing to investigate Monday night's incident, which it describes as "willful fireraising."

"Someone blew up my car," Beasley wrote Wednesday on Twitter. "I'm doin ok, just glad no one got hurt."

Beasley, who moved to Glasgow in 2007, added: "In the market for a new car! Lol..Gotta try to find some humor."

Rangers has described it as a "disturbing and deplorable incident."
