asking a question about a wanted recipe?

Oct 11, 2009 11:30 PM

Hi,

I saw this question:

http://cookbooks.adobe.com/post_How_to_create_a_email_form_with_AS3_-1 6289.html

Now I think what they are asking was "how do I create a email form in Flash CS 4 with AS 3" and have the form be processed. That is; I think they want a form in flash that uses some server side code to process it, such as ColdFusion. However, since I was not sure I did not want to answer in case I read the question wrong.

I did look to see how I could ask a question such as " are you looking how to make an email form in flash, this is what it sounds like to me. I did not want to give a solution to a question that being asked, becasue I read the question wrong.

Is this functionally here on CookBooks, and I was not able to find it?

Thanks, I just discovered the CookBooks, what a great resource`-`

Johnny

    Hello Johnny,

Unfortunately there is currently no functionality in place to allow for follow up questions by potential responders to a recipe request.

However, it is a great idea and we will be rolling out several more updates to the new cookbook application over the next few months and I will add this to our backlog for consideration.

Thank you for your feedback and glad to hear that you are enjoying the new cookbook application.

    Best regards

    Hello Johnny,

Just a quick note to let you know that we have added the ability to comment on recipe requests, partly based on your forum post, so thank you for your feedback.  Now you can ask clarifying questions on ambiguous recipe requests if necessary.

    Thanks!
