Number of camera clicks

Hello, I have

a strange question I hope someone will have the answer to.

I have been told that by opening a photo in Lightroom

the metadata will show the number of shutter "clicks" that photo was taken on ,for that camera.

I have not been able to find it if indeed it does exist. Perhaps someone can tell me.

    Lightroom cannot show that metadata field. You can see it in preview.app (if you have a mac, it's in get info in the camera specific tab), in Photoshop, or in exiftool and many other utilities.

    If you have Photoshop, the file properties show shutter actuations.

     

    Opanda IEXIF Viewer is a free utility for Windows that shows actuatoins:

    http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/index.html

     

    Irfanviewer also works.

     

    Google "shutter actuations" for other solutions.
