The original post is almost 4 years old... didn't know if the process still worked.... it does!!!
The link in the pdf doesn't take you directly to the mpeg-2 encoder, you have to search a bit.
But there is a trial version so you have time to see if it works with your set up.
I used Encore to make a slideshow on DVD.
In the Build tab, in the Disc Info box, in the DVD-ROM Content line; I browsed to where I had my JACKET_P folder... but NOT the JACKET_P folder itself!
example:
/volumes/usbThumbDrive
NOT
/volumes/usbThumbDrive/JACKET_P
(Thank goodness for cheap DVD-R's!!!)
Now, if only there was an inexpensive MAC mpeg-2 encoder, I'd be BLISSFULLY happy.
:-)
Hi Joe Bowden,
is there a possibility to create Jacket Pictures within the adobe products?
I do believe that having the Production Premium it should be possible for me to create jacket pictures within the suite and not having to use workarounds like TMPGEnc Plus.
As for me, coming from FCS, i was able to create Jacket Pictures within the package.
Thanks in advance for any help and info.
greets,
matthias
i know that it's 6 years old and you know what's sad about it....?
as far as i know there still is no simple way to create Jacket Pictures with adobe products!?!?!
Why isn't it possible to integrate it to ENCORE.... like apple did to DVD Studio Pro....
that was the only reason why i wanted to contact joe, to ask me if they had improved encore and added the possibility in some way - i haven't found anything yet!
well i'm hoping for it to come...
cheers,
matthias
