Trying to install PS CS2 on a Compaq 6910p notebook. Windows XP. Deactivated PS from a workstation that I'm not using. Using the installation CD and get through the serial code verification just fine. Then we get to a dialogue box that says
"Select the type of upgrade verification you want to perform:"
I'm trying to load PS from the installation CD. So I select the first option which is to pull from the CD drive. Then I get the following error . . .
"Verification Error: A qualifying version of photoshop was not detected."
Adobe says I have to pay $40 to get installation support on CS2. So I'm here instead!
Any ideas? Thanks,
Eric
