Create new jpeg file with xmp metadata

Apr 19, 2010 2:29 AM

Hi,

I am trying to create new jpeg files with xmp metadata instead of inserting metadata to existing jpeg files.

So I need to initialize SXMPFiles with the memory holding the data of jpeg file, PutXMP to it and write to disk.

I didn't find such kind of APIs in "TXMPFiles< tStringObj > Class Template Reference".

I can, write jpeg file, open the file, insert metadata, write the file again, but that would be inefficient.

Is there any extension to the SDK to accomplish this task?

Best regards,

Ning

    Hi Ning,

unfortunately the XMPFiles library can currently only work with file handles and not in-memory byte streams.

    Kind Regards
