hi, ive downloaded the trial of Photoshop Cs5 but it wont install, i get to about 10% in the install and then i get "Exit Code: 6".
ill begin with my system specs:
(Swedish language) Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.39GHz
4GB Ram
Ati Radeon x1950xTx
Asus P5B deluxe motherboard
1680x1050 Acer P223w screen.

i've cleaned my regestry for problems with "Glarysoft Regestry repair", disabled my ESET NOD32 anti-vir, ran the setup as Administrator, choose to install as trial but i get to about 10% and i get Exit Code: 6.

jabloomf1230 wrote this in an other thread, about Cs5 master collection Exit code: 7. but it should be pretty close, the errormessages i get in the log is "setup program can't find the payloads". so, it may be the installer/setup thats "broken" (or should i call it "non-compatible" with my (swedish) version of Win 7 64-bit?). i will try to re-download the installer again, dosent that work, well, ive probably will do a reinstall of the system to 32-bit win 7, if that dosent work, i have to go back to vista 
but ill post here if i find a solution of the problem, and how i did if so.

1) Try to run the msi installer directly from this location:C:\Users\Andreas\Desktop\Adobe CS5\Photoshop\Adobe CS5\payloads\Microsoft_VC80_CRT_x86\
and report if you see any error message or if the install is successfull. Your installer failed while installing this component. In case it installs then run the Photoshop installer again and report what you observe.
2) In case it fails, try creating another User account and then Run the Photoshop Installer again from there.
Hope it resolves this issue.
1) i ran the msi installer, worked fine, no errors and was installed correctly. i began to install photoshop again, no luck though, same Exit Code
2) i created a new user (with admin rights), but no luck there either, Exit Code 6.
just an small idea i came up with as u wrote that i should run the msi installer, maybye i should try to install all the Msi installers manually?

I've tried to install all the msi installers manually, a longshot that didnt work.
i tried your approach to it Dec9, but without any luck.
i have tried to strip it down to just photoshop (deselecting all the extensions etc.) but also that didnt work.
so, i will back evrything up on my computer, reinstall to 32-bit, and hopefully by monday i will have a computer that is running.
vista will be my last way out

but i have no idea if north american language works now, althrough, it didnt at first.
