I want to create a logo with a shine or light glare moving across it. I also want to do this for text.
I'm making an eyewitness news logo and introduction. I'm working on a PC. I have premiere pro and AE CS4 versions.
I did a tutorial on this a couple of years ago, but unfortunately, I don't have it online. CC Light Sweep should do the job for you. (comes with After Effects) You can find some related tutorials here <http://www.motion-graphics-exchange.com/find/CC+Light+Sweep>
good luck!

> Who makes CC Light Sweep?
CC Light Sweep, from Cycore, comes with After Effects. See the list of effects included with After Effects in After Effects Help.
CC Effects, Keylight and some other things that come bundled with AE (such as Freeform in CS5) are third-party plugins that come free with After Effects. If you don't have them you need to install them. They're probably a separate install on your disc.
And, like every other effect in AE, it will work on text, images, footage, Illustrator images, precomps, anything in AE.

"After Effects comes with several third-party plug-ins. These plug-ins are installed by default with the full version of Adobe After Effects software."
