importing problem in cs5 only for me?

Hi,

I have AE CS4, and i am trying the CS5 trial edition now. I see may avi files (which i rendered from avchd) are not opening in CS5. All the files are opening in CS4. These files when i drag and dropped in CS5, shows a video frame size of 0X0 and it is not opening. Help please.

The trial versions of Adobe After Effects® CS5, Adobe Premiere® Pro CS5, and Soundbooth® CS5 software do not include some features that depend on software licensed from parties other than Adobe. For example, some codecs for encoding MPEG formats are available only with the full version of these products.

more specifically regarding AVCHD:

"FAQ: Why don't I have some effects or codecs in my trial version of After Effects?"

thanks for the reply, what if i purchase the product and upgrade on the trial? will i be given only the left out features? or will i be sent a new dvd?
please advice.

The features that are only available in the full version are locked away in the trial version. The installation media are the same.
